Alumni Tournament Pictures

Keith Mecham, the basketball coach at Box Elder, gave Dylan this awesome Bee's basketball. Dylan was so cute and said, "once I get my balance back I'll be shooting a lot of hoops with this basketball."

During a break in games I took my girls, Sydnee and Madelyn, on a little date with Dawson and Dylan to Texas Roadhouse (Dylan's favorite restaurant). We all had so much fun and the conversation was nonstop. It made me smile! Grammy had taken Dylan to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday last year and I guess ate "A LOT" of the peanuts. He was convinced that he needed to bring some back to her and worried about it until we got her a bag. Just an example of how cute and thoughtful he is!

I am also so grateful for the incredible support and love that has been given! The definition of charity is the pure love of Christ. We have all felt of this love by numerous people; friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers.
Thank you is not a strong enough word for the gratitude that we feel!

I was up in Brigham City for a funeral last week and saw your story in the News and Journal. I am so touched by you little boy and the amount of faith he has. What an inspiration. I just wanted you to know that Dylan and your cute family will be in our prayers.

Ryan and Mandy,
We found out about Dylan from a gal that used to be in your ward. You have a beautiful family and show such faith. We have been down a similar road - if you ever need to chat or if we can do anything for you please let us know. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Give Dylan big hugs from some fans in Eagle Mountain. ;)

Dylan Shaw

On July 12, 2011 Dylan D Shaw returned to a loving Heavenly Father after a brave 4 month battle with a brain stem tumor (DIPG).

Dylan was born Oct 17, 2001 to Ryan D Shaw and Mandy Jeppesen Shaw in Brigham City, Utah. He later moved to West Haven where he was a member of the Wilson 4th ward and loved being in primary and scouts there.

He loved the outdoors and fishing with his grandpas and especially spending time in Bear Lake with family.

Dylan was a very loving boy and touched the lives of many people. He had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He loved playing football, basketball, playing with his friends and was a huge BYU and Denver Broncos fan but he especially loved being with his mom, he didn't want to be away form her for even a minute.

He taught us more in his nine short years of life than words can tell. We miss him every single day, and look forward to the day when we will all be together again!
